I am a lifelong resident of Elmira and Chemung County. My wife Mary and I have lived in the Town of Elmira since 1974. We have four sons and eight grandchildren. I am a graduate of Notre Dame HS, Corning Community College, Elmira College, and the United States Sports Academy. I hold degrees in Business Administration & Economics, Social Studies, Secondary Education, and Sports Management.

I was employed as a manufacturer's representative in private industry for twenty years and then taught secondary Global History and Economics at Southside High School for 21 years. At Southside High School, I coached Varsity and JV Baseball and was the Athletic Manager for all interscholastic sports. I have coached youth baseball, basketball, football, and soccer in the Town of Elmira. I am now retired.

My goals are to represent all of my constituents in District 7 regardless of their party affiliation, to support our town fire and police departments, and to see that Pirozzolo Park continues to be a vibrant and safe place for our residents and our children.

I hope to regenerate the pride that was once so prevalent in our city and county and create an atmosphere that will make people want to come and visit our area. I also hope to work with the other legislators to create job and cultural opportunities that will make our young college graduates want to return to the community. The combination of these goals, should they be successful, will do much to help our local businesses and the overall community.
