The facility provides individualized plans of care for each resident that are developed to help them to attain and maintain the highest practical level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in a residential care setting.
A variety of group and individual activities are available to residents every day of the week, and the facility encourages family members and friends to participate with residents in day rooms, activities department, gardens area, and cafeteria.
A well-staffed department of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Pathologist provide skilled rehabilitative care to residents, many of whom may have the potential to recover and return to their homes.
The facility has five nursing units with 40 beds on each unit. There are 60 private rooms and 70 semi-private rooms with two beds. There is no added charge for a private room, but private room requests are filled from a waiting list.
A handicap-equipped van is provided by the facility to arrange transportation of residents for medical appointments, community activities, and home visits.
