“2022 Chemung County Senior Games Begin May 23rd”
The 2022 Chemung County Senior Games are scheduled for May 23rd through June 16th and will include softball, pickleball, golf, shuffleboard, bocce, bowling, corn hole(bean bag toss), and many more events for participants age 50 and over, at sites throughout the county. There is a nominal $10 fee necessary to participate and the first 500 athletes will receive a Senior Game T-Shirt. Last year nearly 500 athletes came from as far away as Tully and from throughout New York State as well as Pennsylvania to participate in our Senior Games.
A Field Day and Picnic are planned for Thursday, June 16th at the Harris Hill Youth Camp available for registered participants. There will be several "Just for Fun" events including horseshoes, corn hole, miniature golf, and more. In addition, there will be several agencies on hand participating in a health and wellness information fair. Not to mention a delicious picnic! There is an additional $10 fee for this event, which includes all the just for fun events, a gift bag as well as the picnic.
