All PERSONS fishing at the PARK will abide by the rules and regulations of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
Certified Baitfish purchased from a bait dealer can be transported over land in a motorized vehicle and used on any body of water where it is legal to do so. For bait to be considered certified, the seller must provide a receipt that contains: the name of the seller, date of sale, the species of fish and the number of each species sold. The buyer must retain that receipt while in possession of the baitfish. Baitfish without a receipt or with a receipt that is older than 10 days shall be considered uncertified bait.
Uncertified bait are those that have not been tested to verify that they are free of specified diseases. Uncertified baitfish purchased from a bait dealer can only be used on the same body of water that they were collected in.

Floatation devices are not allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS.
All children under the age of 10 (ten) must be accompanied by their parent or another adult over 18 (eighteen) years of age while in the water.
Children less than 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Water Safety - in the event of thunder or lightning the waterfront will be closed. It will remain closed until 30 minutes from the last thunder or lightning observation. There are no refunds due to weather.
Every effort is made to provide safe swimming opportunities by testing the water and by keeping the swimming area staffed with lifeguards. Please be aware that if the safety of our swimmers is compromised, due to lack of lifeguard coverage or water quality issues, swimming will be prohibited and therefore cannot be a guaranteed activity. We apologize for this incovenience as it may occur with little or no advance notice.
You must abide by the rules, a detailed list of swimming rules is posted at the waterfront.
Between April 1st through May 1st each person on board must wear a securely fastened USCG approved wearable personal floatation device of an appropriate size.
Motors are prohibited.

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on boats.
Swimming from boats is prohibited.
No person shall operate a Watercraft closer than one hundred (100) feet to a swimming area.

Park Station has 40 large, wooded campsites some of which are located on a 100 acre lake. Camping is open year round. Each campsite provides electric (30 amp), a picnic table and a fire ring. Also available in the Park are flush toilets, hot/cold showers, a laundry facility, vending machines, dumping station, water taps, garbage receptacles, pay telephones, playgounds and a camp store.
Registration - You must register with the Campground Office upon arrival. Please notify the Campground Office if you leave your site for more than 24 hours.
Minimum Age - you must be 18 years of age or older to rent a site. This responsible person must remain on the site for the entire term of occupancy.
Check In Time - as early as 2:00p.m.
Check Out Time - as late as 12:30p.m.
Quiet Hours - 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. All loud noises, both human and equipment will cease during quiet hours.
Water - after the last weekend in Septemeber there is no guarantee that water will be available in the campground or at the dump station. The campground restrooms will be open year round.
Campsites - must be kept clean at all times. Any/all debris is to be removed by the campers (ex. lawn chairs, carpet, containers, etc.)
Grey Water - is to be dumped at the dump station ONLY.
Alcohol - permitted in the campground ONLY unless a permit has been issued.
Visitors - must pay the daily entrance fee and may be required to park their vehicle in the parking lot outside of the campground. Visitors must vacate the campground by 10:00 p.m.
Occupancy - limited to 6 (six) persons or one family group (mother, father and minor children and one (1) single relative).
Equipment permitted - you may have one camper (up to 35 feet) and one tent per site OR two tents per site.
Fires - allowed only in fire rings. Firewood may be purchased in the Campground Office. If bringing your own firewood please refer to our "Don't Move Firewood" iterature.
Trash Cans - please leave on the post at the entrance of your site so it can be emptied each morning.
Trenching - prohibited
Portable Potties - prohibited
Laundry - please do not hang your laundry on a clothesline to dry. Swim suits and camping gear are acceptable.
Vehicles - 2 per site after 10:00 p.m. Please keep your vehicles on the gravel provided.

Consideration of Others - Please note that we reserve the right to evict, without refund, anyone violating these rules, destroying property, creating a disturbance, or engaging in behavior not suitable in a family campground.
Please do not walk across other occupied sites. Remember that an occupied site is another camper's home.
No refunds for early departure, no-shows, late arrivals, inclement weather, personal reasons, etc.

Campers must leave your site clean and free of debris and garbage. All garbage should be put in the garbage can provided. It should look as it did when you arrived. There will be a $25.00 fee charged if a site needs to be cleaned after you leave. If there are damages (including destruction of trees) the fee may be significantly more. Future camping is on hold until fees are paid.

Payment is expected within 10 days of making your reservation. A reservation made less than 10 days from reservation date must pay at the time of the reservation. A full refund less a $20.00 handling fee will be given with a minimum 14 calendar day cancellation notice. A cancellation less than 14 days will result in a camping credit less $20.00 handling fee, to be used during the current camping season.
Pavilion #1 - located near waterfront, can hold 75 people. Pavilion has electric, barbeque grill, and space for horseshoes and badminton.

Rental of pavilion is from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Alcohol is allowed in our picnic area only at our rental facilities with prior authorization through the Chemung County Attorney. In order to receive authorization you must provide us with a Comprehensive General Liability of no less than $1,000,000 of coverage per person/occurrence and aggregate naming the County of Chemung as an "Additional Insured". This policy must also include Host Liquor Liability Coverage. This policy must be submitted to the Chemung County Buildings and Grounds Department at least 30 days prior to your event.
“Park Station is Now Open for Ice Fishing and Skating”
ERIN- The Chemung County Buildings and Grounds Department announces that ice fishing and ice skating at Park Station will be open beginning Tuesday, January 29. The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., daily. No motorized vehicles (including but not limited to ATV’s or snowmobiles) are allowed on the lake.
These activities will remain open as long as the weather permits. For weather conditions call 607-739-9164. During the winter months there is no entrance fee to Park Station.
In addition to ice fishing and ice skating, the park is also open daily for cross-country skiing and hiking.
Individuals are reminded that children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Ice skating and ice fishing will be at a person’s own risk. There is no ice fishing allowed within 100 feet of the ice skating area.
