Super Saturday Program

Super Saturday – A well supervised, recreational and enrichment program operated by the Chemung County Youth Bureau for youth in kindergarten to sixth grade who reside in the City of Elmira, Town of Elmira and Town of Southport. The program begins at 8:30 am at the Elmira YWCA with a free breakfast, then youth participate in two workshops from 9:00 am to 11:00 am for one six-week session during the Fall and Winter.

Super Saturday is a FREE, recreational and enrichment program for youth in grades K-6 who reside in the City of Elmira, Town of Southport, and Town of Elmira. The program operates two six-week sessions on Saturdays throughout the school year and includes a free breakfast.

 2019 Winter Schedule:

Each Saturday from: March 2nd – April 6th from 9:00am – 11:00am (breakfast is at 8:30am)

 Online Registration Begins:  

Tuesday, February 19th at 8:30am 
Registration will run until February 27th or until classes are full.
Classes are first come, first served basis

Fun & Fitness: Dodge Ball, Parachute Launch, Hula Hoop Dance, Relays and more. Must wear sneakers Natures Art: Make and take projects each week! Rock Painting, Dream Catchers, Nature Weaving.
Science Fun:  Make Silly Putty, Rocket Balloons, Lava Lamps, Create Fossils and more!
Kids Kitchen: Fun and easy recipes. Apple Mini Muffins, Pizza Bites, Grilled Cheese Rollups. 
Swim Kids: Swim lessons for kids of all swimming abilities. (Swim Kids has a $25 non-refundable fee)

 Classes are available on a first come, first served basis and are subject to change.
