The Chemung County Health Department would like to extend an invitation to community residents to attend the next Health Priorities Partnership meeting. The meeting is October 9, 2018 at 9:30 am at the Chemung County Health Department. The Partnership works to address the health priorities of the County. The priorities include obesity, tobacco use, and substance abuse. The group, through the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), works on various initiatives to address these priorities in our community.
The Health Priorities Partnership, is a multi-disciplinary group of community organizations working together to improve the health of our residents. These efforts help further the mission of the Chemung County Health Department which is to:
- Promote and respond to our community's health needs,
- Demonstrate teamwork through open communication, support, respect and accountability and
- Provide efficient, courteous, professional service fairly and consistently.
We encourage community members to attend the meetings and become part of our efforts to improve the health of our residents.
