NYS VOLUNTARY DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PLAN
Effective July 1, 2013 NYS has adopted an optional Retirement Plan for unrepresented (non-union) NYS public employees hired on or after that date, and who earn $75,000 or more on an annual basis.  Employees who meet the criteria have 30 days to choose between enrollment in the New York State and Local Retirement System or the NYS Voluntary Defined Contribution Plan.  Please click on the following link for more information.

MissionSquare administers the County's 457 Deferred Compensation Program. This is a voluntary program for County Employees.

Sieba Ltd. administers the County’s Flexible Spending Accounts Program. This is a voluntary program for eligible County Employees. A copy of the County’s Plan Document is available upon request through your department’s administration or through the County Personnel Office. Annual enrollment is only open in the fall for participation the next plan year January 1 – December 31.

Please be advised the new IRS limit for unreimbursed medical is $3,050 for 2023 and  
The rollover amount from 2023 to 2024 has been increased to between $10 - $610.
