A Matter of Balance
We contract with Chemung Volunteer Action Corps to provide "A Matter of Balance", a program to help you manage concerns about falling. Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. A Matter of Balance is an award-winning research-based program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels.
The program was developed by the Roybal Center for Enhancement of Late-Life Function at Boston University. Trained Coaches conduct eight two-hour sessions for groups of 10 to 12 participants.
