Chemung County Executive Christopher Moss, the City and Town of Elmira, the Town of Big Flats, and the Town of Southport have committed to being an Age-Friendly Community, engaging us in an ongoing process to encourage active and healthy aging. Developing our age-friendliness provides an opportunity to enhance the wellbeing of all county residents, increase the ability of older adults to contribute to the community while reducing costly healthcare needs, and provides a marketing tool to attract and retain business and people of all ages. Contact us to find out how you can help and how we can help you!
